Program: Drama Triangle

Do you find yourself caught in the crossfire of workplace drama? Are you tired of dealing with other people’s problems? What you probably don’t know is that the drama started when you stepped in…to the drama triangle. Join Lauren as she shares stories from a 13 year career in HR, recognizing the drama triangle, navigating it and coming out on the other side. Are you ready to end to the drama? 
Lauren's talk will include: 
  • The Back story on how she got here 
  • The introduction of the drama triangle
  • The roles we play that cause conflict and toxicity in the workplace
  • The steps to take to get out of the drama triangle to resolve conflict, build and maintain relationships and improve organizational productivity
The 3 Learning Objectives include being able to:
  • Identify the role you play in creating and maintaining effective work relationships 
  • Navigate the role you and your team play in the drama triangle 
  • Learn 3 strategies to engage in an effective dialogue balancing work relationships and the organization Instructional method include large group discussion and small group discussion


Speaker: Lauren Moffatt

For more than a decade, Lauren Moffatt has been providing executive coaching, human resources consulting and leadership development programs for individuals and organizations in Central Indiana. Lauren’s commitment to building leaders began in college and led to a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Evangel University. Through her leadership as Vice President of Human Resources at Public Safety Medical in Indianapolis, Lauren developed diverse teams, guided strategic planning and helped cultivate a strong, award winning corporate culture. She also earned extensive HR certifications while in that role, including PHR, SHRM-CP and a PCC in Executive Coaching through the Townsend Institute.
Now, Lauren is the President of Spark HR. Her work focuses on executives in career transition and HR professionals to support their growth as leaders in their field. Lauren is a sought-after expert on topics related to leadership, human resources and personal development. She is also a TLP (Townsend Leadership Program) Director.
